The European Business Competence* Licence (EBC*L) is an
established business qualification certificate that demonstrates
that the holder has the core knowledge needed to

go into the business world for the first time

be able to run any department/ division involving financial
decisions
-
control and manage the financial aspects of a project
start up a new business

The
certificate demonstrates business management expertise on an
internationally recognized level. The EBC*L is currently established
in 16 countries (Austria, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy,
Poland, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia,
Kosovo and Macedonia) and available in 10 languages.
The EBC*L ensures a highest degree of transparency and is accredited
by the economy. A number of organizations (including Siemens,
T-Mobile, Xerox, Bayer, Uniqa, Samsung) have integrated EBC*L into
their in-house staff development programmes.
CS Global is the National Representative Office in Macedonia and is
responsible for developing a network of exam centres (ECs) in the
country as well as for conducting suitable marketing, public
relations, lobbying activities to increase awareness of the EBC*L.
In addition we are doing the quality control measures in accordance
with EBC*L guidelines.
Background
Economic core knowledge is one of the most important key skills to
meet thechallenge that brings the globalization about the economy
and each individual. The initiative “Business Competence for Europe”
was started, to spread core business management knowledge among
those, who haven’t studied business management. It developed the
internationally recognized certificate European Business Competence*
Licence EBC*L.
The
International Centre of the EBC*L is based in Vienna. The Council
for Business Competence in Europe (Kuratorium Wirtschaftskompetenz
für Europa e.V.) based in Paderborn, Germany consists of leading
European professors of business management. The Council for Business
Competence in Europe provides academic and strategic leadership for
the EBC*L.

The syllabus includes modules in

Training
Training courses to prepare for the EBC*L exam will be available
from training companies and in various Colleges throughout the
country. They have to be accredited partners of the EBC*L
National Representative Office and fulfil the quality standards.
Preparation courses vary between 40 to 60 hours.
